As we have all experienced, Covid changed the ways we connect. Today, connecting to each other online is still an important way we communicate.
Counselling and accessing mental health opportunities is no different. There are many benefits of online counselling sessions. Some of those are not having to find care for your children or dependants that may be living with you while you leave to have a session. Having your session online eliminates travel costs in travelling to your session. Other benefits include being able to stay home and still have your session if you are not feeling well, or if someone in your household is sick. Online sessions also offer more flexibility in our modern day, busy schedules. and also allow us to still have our sessions in the event that Mother Nature has other ideas and makes the roads unsafe to travel on - we can stay safely in our own spaces while continuing the journey to heal and grow.
Nurture Me Counselling uses a local, North Vancouver, Canadian company called Jane App, to host private and secure virtual, online sessions. This software also allows you to book, reschedule or cancel your next appointment online, when it's convenient for you.
When you click on the "book a session" or "book a meet and greet" button, it will take you to a secure portal where you can book your free 15 minute meet and greet call, and any future sessions.
When you book an online meet and greet call or online sessions, you will receive a confirmation email with session details and an option to receive a reminder email or text closer to your next session.
Also, if you booked an online session, you will receive another email about 30 minutes before your online session with a link you click on at your appointment time that will take you to our online session meeting.
