ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS | Weekday and evening availability
Affordable therapy in BC for grief, loss, couples counselling, and healing from difficult family & relationship dynamics.
For adults working through difficult family dynamics, challenging relationships, or patterns that leave you feeling unseen, unappreciated, criticized or blamed especially if you're a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP).
Have you ever been made to feel like your needs were “too much”?
That your feelings were wrong, inconvenient, or not real?
That no matter how much you gave, it was never enough?
If you’ve been in a relationship with a narcissistic, emotionally immature, manipulative, or controlling person—whether a parent, partner, friend, or family member—you may still be untangling the emotional aftermath.
You might question your memories, struggle to trust your instincts, or feel stuck in a pattern of people-pleasing and self-doubt. You might carry guilt for setting boundaries. Or shame for staying as long as you did. Or confusion about how someone could hurt you and still claim to love you.
🌿 The Pain Isn’t Always Obvious—But It’s Deeply Felt
These kinds of relationships often leave behind lasting wounds that can show up in daily life:
Especially if you grew up with an emotionally immature, neglectful or narcissistic parent, these patterns can run deep. Over time, this can shape how you show up in all your relationships & friendships, leaving you disconnected from your voice, your needs, and even your sense of self.
🌿 How Individual Counselling Can Help
Counselling provides a safe, supportive space to make sense of what you’ve experienced and begin to heal—on your own terms.
I support individuals who:
This work isn’t about blaming the past.
It’s about understanding it—so you can begin to unlearn the messages that never belonged to you in the first place. Book a free 20 minute consultation to see if I might be the right counsellor to support you.
You are not crazy. You are not too dramatic. You are not too much. 🌿
For partners seeking deeper connection, communication, understanding and healing—even when it feels hard to find.
Relationships are meant to be a place of love and safety—but when communication breaks down, resentment builds, or outside family dynamics creep in, even the strongest bonds can feel fragile.
Whether you’re navigating emotional distance, past betrayals, childhood wounds, or tension with in-laws, couples counselling offers a compassionate space to pause, reflect, and reconnect.
🌿 You might be here because:
Many couples carry patterns from the past—childhood experiences, attachment wounds, or unhealthy family dynamics—that quietly shape the way they relate to each other. You might notice you shut down during conflict, feel triggered by your partner’s tone, or struggle to express what you truly need.
These are deeply human struggles. And you don’t have to figure them out on your own.
🌿 How Couples Therapy Can Help
Couples therapy isn’t about blaming one another or rushing toward a solution. It’s about creating a safe, respectful space where both of you can feel heard, supported, and better understood.
I integrate tools from the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples:
Couples counselling can help you get back to the heart of your relationship—a place where both partners feel valued, supported, and emotionally safe. Whether you come on your own or with your partner, seeking help is a courageous step toward rebuilding connection and hope.
Book a free 20-minute consultation to see if I might be the right counsellor for your relationship. There’s no pressure—just a calm, caring space to briefly discuss what’s been happening and how I might be able to support you both.
You don’t have to wait until things are “bad enough.” 🌿
For adults trying to make sense of all types of grief and loss - not only from death.
When life changes — or doesn’t go the way you hoped — it’s okay to grieve.
Grief doesn't come only from death. It can show up in the spaces where something meaningful was lost… even if no one else sees or understands it.
You might feel it in the quiet moments, when everything feels heavier than it should.
You might catch yourself thinking, “Why can’t I just move on?”
Or you may find yourself carrying old wounds while juggling present-day responsibilities — and wondering why it still hurts so much.
You're not broken - you're grieving something that meant a lot to you.
🌿 Grief is a deeply personal human experience. And it often goes unspoken when it stems from:
Grief doesn’t follow a timeline. It doesn’t always make logical sense.
And healing doesn’t happen by pretending you’re fine.
🌿 This space is here for you - the adult who:
Whether you’re holding heartbreak, anger, regret, emptiness, or confusion…
That doesn’t make you too much, too sensitive, or too broken. It makes you human.
And being human means we sometimes need help carrying the weight.
Together, we can make space for what you’re carrying and begin to explore what healing could look like for you.
You’re allowed to want more for yourself — peace, clarity, connection.
You’re allowed to begin again.

I'm glad you're here. Let’s take that next step together.🌿

Her presence is always optional but if you’d like to request a visit from Willow during your session, we can discuss that during our consult call.
