Roy T. Bennett - The Light in the Heart
Let’s be honest—life can be expensive these days. And when things get tight, taking care of our mental health often falls to the bottom of the list. But here’s the truth: investing in your emotional well-being can have powerful, lasting effects.
Counselling isn’t just about feeling better today. It’s about building healthier relationships, improving your physical and sexual health, boosting your confidence at work, and even creating more financial stability. Taking care of your mental health is one of the smartest investments you can make—for yourself, your future, and everyone around you.
Not sure if counselling is right for you—or if I’m the right fit? I offer a free 20-minute meet and greet over the phone or video.
This no-pressure call is a chance for us to connect, talk about your goals, and see if we’re a good match. You can ask questions about the counselling process and how I work at Nurture Me Counselling. It’s just a friendly conversation—no counselling happens during this call—but it helps set the stage for a successful experience if you choose to move forward.
I offer both in-person counselling in a safe, welcoming space, and online therapy sessions for your convenience and comfort. While most counsellors offer 50-minute sessions, I have chosen to continue to provide full 60- and 90-minute sessions. That extra time gives us space to explore deeper and move at a pace that feels right for you.
To reserve a full session, a credit card is required on file. You’ll be asked to complete a short intake form and provide your payment information when booking your first full session. Your card is charged only after your session or if you cancel on short notice or miss the appointment.
Payment methods accepted:
I understand therapy is a financial commitment. That’s why I offer a limited number of reduced-rate spots for clients based on their annual income. If affordability is a concern, please reach out—let’s see what’s possible.
Many extended health benefit plans cover counselling. While I don’t offer direct billing, I’ll provide you with a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurer.
Providers that often cover Registered Therapeutic Counsellors (RTC):
Please Note: Every plan is different—please check with your provider to confirm what’s covered before your first session.
